Introduction

Foremost Exteriors LLC (“Foremost Exteriors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit foremostexteriors.com or contact us about a roofing, siding, or gutter project, how we use that information, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

If you have questions about anything here, call us at (952) 495-5545 or email [email protected].

We are a licensed exterior contractor serving homeowners in the Twin Cities metro. We are the party responsible for the information collected through this website.

2. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to foremostexteriors.com and to information you give us directly by phone, email, text message, or in person in connection with a project or estimate request. It does not cover the practices of companies we do not own or control, including financing partners, insurance carriers, manufacturers, and any third-party website you reach through a link on our site.

3. Information You Give Us

When you request an estimate, fill out a form, call, text, or email us, we may collect:

Your name
Your phone number
Your email address
Your property address
The type of project you are considering
Any details you share about the condition of your home
Photos or documents you send us
Insurance carrier and claim information, if your project involves storm damage and you choose to share it

We only collect what we need to respond to you, prepare an accurate estimate, and complete the work.

4. Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, our site and our hosting provider automatically log certain technical information when you visit. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, the referring website, and how long you stay on a page.

This information is not used to identify you personally. We use it to understand how the site performs, diagnose technical problems, and improve the experience.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We use them to remember your preferences, keep the site working correctly, and measure site traffic and performance.

We may use the following categories:

Essential cookies, which are required for the site to function.
Analytics cookies, which help us understand which pages people visit and how they get there.
Advertising cookies, which may be used to measure the performance of our advertising and show relevant ads on other platforms.

You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site may not work as intended.

6. Text Messages and Phone Communications

If you provide your phone number and check the consent box on our contact form, or if you text us directly, you agree to receive text messages from Foremost Exteriors related to your inquiry and your project.

What we send: appointment confirmations and reminders, inspection and estimate scheduling, project status updates, follow-up on an estimate you requested, and occasional service information.

Message frequency: message frequency varies based on your project. Most customers receive fewer than five messages per month.

Cost: message and data rates may apply. Charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.

Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in. Reply START to resume.

Help: reply HELP to any message, or call us at (952) 495-5545.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages in order to request an estimate or hire us. You can request an estimate by phone, email, or by submitting our form without checking the consent box.

No sharing for marketing: we do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for text messaging are shared only with the service providers that send messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only in these situations:

Service providers. We use vendors to run our business, including our customer relationship management system, form and scheduling tools, project photo documentation software, email and hosting providers, payment processors, and website analytics. These providers may access your information only as needed to perform their work for us.

Subcontractors and crews. Installers and crews assigned to your project receive the information needed to complete the work, such as your name, address, and scope of work.

Insurance adjusters. If your project involves an insurance claim and you ask us to, we provide documentation of the damage and the contractor scope of work and pricing to your adjuster. We are not a public adjuster and do not negotiate claims or advise on policy coverage.

Financing partners. If you apply for financing, your application is submitted to and handled by the third-party lender, and the lender’s own privacy policy governs that information.

Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business transfers. If our business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.

9. Third-Party Links

Our site links to manufacturer sites, financing applications, review platforms, and other outside resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

10. How Long We Keep Information

We keep project records, estimates, contracts, photo documentation, and warranty information for as long as needed to service warranties, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal, tax, and insurance requirements. Inquiry information from people who do not become customers is retained for a reasonable period for follow-up and then removed from active use.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website or method of electronic transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as full account numbers or Social Security numbers by email or text.

12. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

Ask what personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
Ask us to delete information, subject to records we are required to keep
Opt out of text messages by replying STOP
Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message
Ask us not to use your project photos in our gallery or marketing

Depending on where you live, state privacy law may give you additional rights, including the right to confirm whether we process your data, obtain a copy of it, correct it, delete it, and opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. Minnesota residents may have rights under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act. California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

To make a request, call (952) 495-5545 or email [email protected]. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

13. Children’s Privacy

Our services are directed to homeowners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
